Joey + Rory were grateful they had the chance to spend their Christmas surrounded by family and friends. It was a special day for their almost two-year-old daughter Indiana as well, with Rory writing in his blog This Life I Live that "our little Indiana had a wonderful Christmas this year."
For the Feeks, Christmas had an extra special meaning to it, because Joey was there. When she learned that she had terminal cancer, her and Rory didn't know if she would make it to see Christmas. But they always maintained hope, and sure enough, Joey was there to celebrate with Rory, Indiana, and their loved ones.
Little Indiana received a special gift this Christmas, her own plush "Gruffalo," which is a character from an award-winning children's book. In the book, a little mouse imagines the Gruffalo as a beast that can keep it safe. In his blog post, Rory said that their own personal"Gruffalo" they imagined was that Joey would be there for Christmas, and as it turns out, she was.

Following Christmas, Rory treated Indiana to another special "gift," which was a father-daughter breakfast date. He shared a photo to him and Joey's Facebook page that shows little Indiana coloring on her placemat. She looks absolutely adorable, wearing a pink and green flowered dress and pigtails in her hair.
To Joey + Rory, it is the little moments like Rory and Indiana's breakfast date that mean so much to them. In their 2010 song, "That's Important To Me," Joey + Rory sing about some of life's other little moments that the hold dear to their hearts. You can watch the official music video for the song below.Indiana is such a lucky little girl to have two incredible parents like Joey + Rory!
