Carrie Underwood is about to embark on her much anticipated Storyteller Tour, and she has just made another huge announcement.

She has teamed up with Carnival Cruise Line and Operation Homefront to “support our nation’s military families, who sacrifice so much for our country.

She made the announcement in a video posted on Carnival’s YouTube page and also revealed that she will meet several deserving military families for private meet-and-greets throughout the tour.

Those selected families will also be given the chance to attend a private concert on Carnival Cruise Line’s newest and most family friendly ship in November.

“I’m honored to be able to join Carnival Cruise Line and Operation Homefront to lift up these soldiers and their families,” Underwood said. “I am really looking forward to meeting them on my tour and for the opportunity to personally thank them for all they do for our freedom.”

Commemorative dog tags will also be available for purchase on her tour along with any Carnival Cruise Line to help benefit Operation Homefront.

This isn’t the first time Underwood has used her tour to give back. In 2012, Underwood donated $1 per ticket sold from the North American stops on her tour to the American Red Cross.
