Anyone who follows Miranda Lambert on social media can tell that she's really falling for her new boyfriend, Anderson East. Lambert has mentioned East in many of her recent posts to social media, including a photo she shared to her Instagram on Sunday (Jan. 31).
In the photo, Lambert is seen sitting outside on the porch with her guitar in her hands and a pad of paper in front of her. In a series of hashtags, Lambert says she spent the weekend "#writin'" and "#singin'."
It's exciting enough that Lambert spent her weekend working on new music, but what's even better is the fact that Lambert tagged East in her photo.
Could this mean that Lambert and East were writing and singing together, and this is Lambert's way of hinting at a collaboration between the two of them?
East is a rhythm and blues/pop musician, known for his raw, raspy voice. Even though he may not sing country, he is a country boy at heart, growing up in Alabama and currently residing in Nashville.
If Lambert and East do collaborate on some new music, it won't be the first time the two of them have appeared on the same album. Both artists are included on the upcoming compilation album Southern Family, set for release on March 18.
While you're waiting for Lambert to release some new music, enjoy listening to her song on Southern Family, called "Sweet By and By."
