Only one story overshadowed Peyton Manning's historic Super Bowl win on Sunday, and that was Cam Newton's post-game press conference. The Carolina Panthers' quarterback was labeled a 'sore loser' after he walked out of the press conference after giving brief, one word answers about the team's loss.
Newton addressed the criticism on Tuesday by saying, "I've been on record to say I'm a sore loser. Who likes to lose? You show me a good loser and I'm going to show you a loser." Newton's response set off a second round of debate about whether he handled things the right way.
Facebook user Richard Gilbreath decided that there was only one way to put out the firestorm surrounding Cam Newton. He brought in one of the wisest men that ever lived to give Newton some advice. In a video posted to Facebook, the late Andy Griffith is seen sitting on the couch next to a pouting Cam Newton.
"I don't think it was very nice of you to walk off the way you did," Andy says to Cam.
"I didn't win. I didn't win!" Newton responds.
The video only gets better as Griffith puts Newton in his place by telling him it's more important to know how not to win something. Check out Gilbreath's full video below.
