During his current World Tour, Garth Brooks has been shattering ticket sales records left and right for the venues his shows are scheduled for. Due to the high demand for tickets to his shows, Brooks often adds additional concerts to certain venues, something he recently did for one particular city.
WDRB reports that on Friday morning (Feb. 12), tickets went on sale for Brooks' April 9th show in Louisville, Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center. The tickets sold so quickly that within hours there were barely any left.
Brooks was blown away by the dedication of his Louisville fans, and made the decision to add not one, not two, but three more shows to his stop in the city.
With the newly-added Louisville shows, Brooks will perform twice on Friday, April 8 and twice on Saturday, April 9. The concerts mark the first time Brooks has performed in Louisville in 18 years, something that is exciting to the residents and the Yum! Center's general manager, Dennis Petrullo.
"He's been playing around us for the past two years but it's great for us to secure him here in Louisville," said Petrullo.
Now that Brooks has added three more shows to his stop in Louisville, even more people will have the opportunity to witness his electrifying performances. You can enjoy watching his World Tour performance of "Friends In Low Places" in the video below.
We're sure that Louisville won't be the only location Brooks will have to add more concert dates to!
