Brooks & Dunn has exciting news!
The duo accepted an offer to play Lakeshake, a country music festival in Chicago on June 18 and 19.
The pair split up in 2010, but reunited in 2014 for a series of concerts with Reba McEntire at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
In his Facebook post, Dunn quoted Bob Lefsetz, a music industry analyst and critic that has fans speculating.
He listed twelve points, each having to do with teamwork, life, career, and personalities of individuals.
The points include:
In his post, Dunn singles out a point made by Lefsetz. "Something about #5 has a ring of familiarity," he writes. "Introverts need extroverts, opposites attract, look for someone to fill the holes you cannot. (This is an analogue of #1, but it bears repeating in a society where everybody's trying to be someone they are not.)"
What does he mean by this? He also focuses on not being able to make it alone. Is this the beginning of the official reunion of Brooks & Dunn?
Time will tell, but for now, we can dream, right?
