Thomas Rhett, son of world-renowned songwriter Rhett Akins, has been recording music since he made his debut with “Something To Do With My Hands” in 2012.
Now, with five Top Ten hits on the U.S. Hot Country chart, the platinum-selling artist is touring alongside colleague Jason Aldean and A Thousand Horses with Aldean’s We Were Here Tour.
On a stop in Charlottesville, Virginia, Thomas walked toward the front of the stage and literally walked into the open arms of the crowd!
Many times that we’ve seen performers take a tumble, the stop singing, but what happened when Thomas Rhett dove off the edge into a sea of people will surprise you!
Once he was certain that the crowd who caught him wasn’t going to let him fall, the country star just kept on singing!
Now, how’s that for a literal sense of “the show must go on”!?
Check out his epic fall and comeback in the video below!
