In the last week, nearly 100 people have been arrested during police raids at Upstate New York concert venues.

Raids were conducted at a Luke Bryan concert as part of their systematic approach of an initiative to reduce underage alcohol consumption and manufacturing of fake identification cards.

The DMV and county sheriff offices initiated the raids on the concerts and took 95 people into custody for offenses like underage consumption of alcohol, possessing a forged ID card, and even some for assault.

According to Syracuse.com, the authorities have repeatedly raided hot-spots for these kinds of offenses for more than a year and often focus on the concert venues due to the high draw of crowds.

The initiative, called Operation Prevent, arrested more than 750 people for underage drinking in New York last year.

Luke Bryan was performing at CMAC in Canadiagua on July 28th when the raid occurred. 29 people were arrested for underage drinking at his event.
