Boxing Champ Pleads Guilty To Kenny Chesney Concert Brawl Charges | Country Music Videos

Last summer, welterweight boxing champ Victor Ortiz and his brother were arrested at Kenny Chesney‘s Rose Bowl concert in Pasadena, California, after a verbal altercation turned physical.

According to the victim, the brothers beat him up without provocation with Victor kicking him in the head while he was on the ground. The altercation resulted in felony assault with a deadly weapon charges that were later reduced to misdemeanor battery and assault charges for the brothers.

On Tuesday (August 16), 29-year old Victor accepted a plea deal in which he plead guilty to the battery charge to avoid jail time. Instead, the former Dancing With The Stars contestant will get 3 years probation and will have to complete 60 days of community service and 52 anger management classes.

Kenny Chesney concerts are known for being a little rowdy. In 2013, 73 people were arrested and patrons left behind more than 30 tons of trash following a Chesney concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Earlier this year at the same location, more than 25 people were hospitalized for intoxication or intoxication-related injuries with others being arrested for trespassing, ticket robbery, simple assault and public intoxication.
