For the first time since the heartbreaking deaths of her mother and grandmother, "Scream Queens" actress Billie Lourd has addressed the tragedies. Lourd, daughter of Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher and granddaughter of Hollywood icon Debbie Reynolds, posted a photo to Instagram Monday (January 2) of herself with her mom and grandmother. In the caption, Lourd wrote a personal letter to her fans.
“Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist,” 24-year old Lourd wrote. “There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me," the caption reads.
60-year old Carrie Fisher died December 27, four days after going into cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Reynolds, 84, died the following day after suffering a stroke while planning her daughter's funeral alongside her son, Todd.
"I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie," Reynolds told her son just 15 minutes before her stroke.
A family memorial for both Fisher and Reynolds is planned for Thursday, January 5, a source close to the family tells ET. There may be a more public celebration down the road. The actresses will be buried next to each other at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
