Carrie Underwood Gives Riveting Twist To Motley Crue’s ‘Home Sweet Home’

Carrie Underwood went back to her superstar roots when she revisited American Idol during its electrifying Season 8 finale! While competitors Kris Allan and Adam Lambert joked alongside host Ryan Seacrest, Underwood took the spotlight-studded stage with her glamorous rhinestone microphone and sexy black attire! 

Singing one of Motley Crue’s biggest hits, the country star was a vision of talent and beauty as her flawless vocals perfectly embodied the lyrics to the song “Home Sweet Home”. While the blonde bombshell sang the classic hit, a montage of videos filled the stage, containing past contestants from the season faced with vastly different fates from our final two contestants, Allan and Lambert. 

The audience was filled with emotion and love from both the sensational compilation of videos and Underwood’s phenomenal vocals. Fans found the singer’s choice of song a tad bit ironic, seeing that Idol was essentially the platform that launched this superstar to fame and success, perhaps making the show her “home”. 

Years after the wondrous performance, viewers continue to rave about the remarkable rendition of the metal band’s iconic hit.
