Following the Predators devastating 4-1 loss against the Pittsburg Penguins, the 34-year-old singer and wife to the team's captain released a series of fiery tweets regarding her feelings on the matter.
How was that not a penalty?!— Carrie Underwood (@carrieunderwood) June 1, 2017
Score-by-score, the country singer became less willing to keep her feelings to herself as the game progressed in favor of Pittsburgh.
This game is being called so insanely awful, I can't even...— Carrie Underwood (@carrieunderwood) June 1, 2017
The passionate Preds fan acknowledged her tweets may be interpreted as poor sportsmanship, tweeting that her manager may have to take her account privileges away.
Despite the end result of the game the country singer remains positive, encouraging her fellow residents of "Smashville" that "there's still a lot of hockey to be played."
There's still a lot of hockey to be played. Let's show 'em how we do it in #Smashville!!! 💙💛💙💛— Carrie Underwood (@carrieunderwood) June 1, 2017
While Underwood may have not felt the game was being fairly called by the referee, in the end she graciously thanked the Penguins for hosting her beloved team.
Thanks, @PPGPaintsArena for having us & to all the Pens fans who were super sweet to us!— Carrie Underwood (@carrieunderwood) June 1, 2017
She sure is one passionate wife; here's to hoping the team turns it around!
