Caught on Camera: ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star’s Romantic Proposal

On December 22, 2015, Duck Dynasty star Reed Robertson proposed to his girlfriend of four years.

Reed, who is the son of Missy and Jase Robertson, got down on one knee during a family vacation to New York City.

Thanks to multiple hidden cameras, the folks at Duck Dynasty filmed everything for a recent episode, and it was magical.

To get to perfect pictures of the incredible moment, Reed cleverly got a photographer to take photos of his family so his girlfriend, Brighton, wouldn’t be alarmed by cameras all around.

After the group shot, Reed and Brighton took a few photos together. He asked her to point at a building for a cute pose, but as she turned back around, he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand.

“Will you marry me?” he asked.  Shocked, she said yes!

They exchanged a warm embrace surrounded by family. The newly engaged couple both shared their excitement on Instagram. Missy and Jase couldn’t be more excited to welcome Brighton into their family.

“I couldn’t be more excited to marry this amazing woman,” Reed wrote.

 

Planning has begun, but a wedding date has not been released.
