Chris Young Makes A HUGE Announcement That Has Been ’10 Years In The Making’

For the last few days, Chris Young has been teasing a big announcement.

He gave a hint that he was back in the studio and the album he is working on has been “ten years in the making”. 

He finally made his announcement Thursday (June 30) via Facebook Live Stream.

“I’m really excited about this, I told you guys it was 10 years in the making and I was not exaggerating,” he said. “This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.”

He continues telling his fans how excited he is to be doing this and how grateful he is to his label, RCA, for allowing him to do it. His words were interrupted by his own laughter because of what was going on behind the camera.

He couldn’t take it any longer and blurted the announcement out. “We are making a Christmas record! I am so excited!“

He turned the camera around to show the studio all decorated with a christmas tree, lights and his friends dressed as Santa and an elf. No wonder he was laughing!

“I’m pumped and I’m sorry I teased everybody for four days, but this is gonna be so so cool,” he said.

We can’t wait to hear Young sing all the Christmas classics, and perhaps a few originals!
