Country music artist Chris Young has been gracing radio stations and stages as a popular artist since his victory on a televised singing competition known as Nashville Star. From there, Young went on to produce various chart toppers, perhaps most recognized for his sexy hit "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)".
As his image grew into the recognizable name we know today, it was no surprise to fans when Young began performing at the Grand Ole Opry, the home plate of the country music industry.
While many artists prefer to perform their own music, Young chose to give a tribute to the late Keith Whitley, wielding one of Whitley's original guitars that Young had previously purchased in light of his love for the legend. Singing the heartbreaking song "Don't Close You Eyes", Young gave audience members an incredible music experienced packed with no shortage of emotion.
Check out the performance of what fans call one of the best moments honoring an irreplaceable legend.
