With all the hype surrounding this year's awards show, is it any surprise that the man taking home a video of the year trophy is none other than Keith Urban?

Stacked up against top-notch performers like Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Jason Aldean, everyone was thrilled to hear he stole the show during the 2017 CMT Music Awards. 

The award is given to the male artist nominated and fan-voted best video of the entire year. The nominees for 2017 were as follows:

  • Eric Church - "Record Year"
  • Jason Aldean - "Lights Come On" 
  • Keith Urban - "Blue Ain't Your Color"

Taking home the Male Video of the Year award is a huge honor and one that surely is the envy of the industry. Urban deserves this for all of his tremendous work on the video and how fantastic it is!
