It was neck in neck for the award coveted by country music duos, as the eager nominees awaited the results that would crown the winning two group members for their admirable achievement of producing the Duo Video of the Year

The nominees, all very much deserving, ranged in their diversity, sound, and experience. Perhaps the duo with the most experience, Big & Rich earned their spot in the running with their fiery music video for their collaboration with fellow star Tim McGraw titled “Lovin’ Lately”.

However, duos Florida Georgia Line and Dan + Shay, although more recently embarking into the big leagues of country music, snagged their nominations with their passionate ballads “H.O.L.Y.” and “How Not To”. Both groups incorporated searing emotions and powerful lyrics that shook their listeners.

It was Brothers Osborne and LoCash that promoted their sensitive sides and bold beat in their anthems “21 Summer” and “I Know Somebody”. Unfortunately, despite the profound talent steaming from these incredible duos, only one could claim the winning title.

Taking home the top honors for a country music duo this evening was none other than Florida Georgia Line for their heart-stopping and beautiful music video, “H.O.L.Y.”
