Dad Of Four Writes Song About Life Before Kids – Enjoys Being A Dad More

Singer-songwriter Bryon Bos is a proud dad of four kids. Like some dads do, Bos teases his kids about what life would have been like without them. In a moment of creative genius, Bryon put those thoughts to music and with the help of his two youngest, Ann and Jack, he recorded the tune.

In the video posted to social media, Bos opens the song by singing about how his life would have been different if he didn’t have children. “I could leave my drinks around and never worry about lids. I could walk around naked whenever I want. The best part about it is I’d have enough money to live,” Bos sings before his children remind him of what he would have missed out on.

“What would you do without hugs and kisses and so much more,” 5-year old Ann asks.

The song continues with the kids reminding their dad that if he had stayed single he would have just turned into a big kid. “You got a point,” Bryon concedes.

The song concludes with dad Bos admitting that he has everything he wants and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

“I don’t wanna be single. I love my kids. No doubt about it, I wouldn’t trade the world for this. I got all I want and a whole lot more. The best part about it is….I’m fine with being poor.”
