It’s been awhile since Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been behind the wheel of his No. 88 race car on a NASCAR track. Perhaps he’s making up for it by pushing the limits in his personal vehicle.
Amy Reimann, Earnhardt’s fiancee, shared a photo to Twitter of the NASCAR driver after being pulled over for speeding on his way to Texas Motor Speedway Sunday morning prior to the AAA Texas 500.

According to Reimann’s post, her hubby-to-be didn’t get ticketed. She also didn’t reveal how fast Earnhardt was going, but the driver himself responded to a Twitter user who asked how fast he was going. His response? “Not fast enough.”

Earnhardt is currently sidelined after experiencing concussion-like symptoms mid-summer. He hopes to be back behind the wheel of his No. 88 Chevrolet by the beginning of next season.
