Just a few short weeks after his jaw-dropping retirement announcement, the most popular NASCAR driver is making headlines again with another surprising revelation.
After teasing fans during a recent podcast episode, Dale Earnhardt Jr. finally opened up about the long-rumored 'reality tv' show that was thought to feature a peek at his new married life alongside Amy.
Taking to his favorite social media platform, Twitter, Dale Jr. explained that in lieu of having cameras on him and Amy 24/7, they had actually worked out a deal for a home improvement show set for 2018.
"Exciting news!" He tweeted. "Amy Earnhardt and I are working on a DIY Network TV series where we'll renovate a historic home in Key West! Airing in 2018."
This wouldn't be the first time both Dale Jr. and Amy have taken on a major home improvement project. During 2016, the racing star demonstrated his incredible craftsmanship and showed off his stunning treehouse for Animal Planet's Treehouse Masters series.
Amy, on the other hand, has blazed her own trail as a truly masterful interior designer and has been leaving a trail of hints on her own social media about the forthcoming project. She, too, is thrilled to be doing this new show alongside her hubby.
"Thrilled to announced this project w/ DIY Network [and] Dale Jr.! Can't wait to flex those design muscles & make this house shine!"
