Losing control of his vehicle and punching headfirst into a tree, no amount of NASCAR driving could have saved him from this wintertime accident.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., who spent a majority of his life behind the wheel of a stock car just found himself flying straight into a pine tree after assisting some fellow North Carolina residents pull their own car out of the snow.
Taking to his favorite social media site, Dale Jr. revealed that he is alright after “punching” into a pine tree with his truck. He rounds out a full list of NASCAR drivers who have tweeted about their experiences with this heavy snowfall.

In his tweet, Dale Jr. shared a photo of him assisting a few local residents with their own ice and snow situation, but revealed that moments after the photo was taken, he found himself in the same situation.
NC stay off the roads today/tonight. 5 minutes after helping these folks I center punched a pine tree. All good. Probably just needs a new alignment. pic.twitter.com/OfA5Q28jew

Thankfully, he’s doing just fine and will only need some minor repairs to his truck, but this is surely a situation he never had to face on the track!
