Cast and crew of Dancing With The Stars: Light Up The Night Live! tour were injured after their tour bus was involved in a 70-vehicle pileup on the interstate enroute to Ames, Iowa, on Monday. The accident left one driver dead and was caused by poor road conditions from a winter storm that wreaked havoc on the midwest.
A social media post made by Dancing With The Stars revealed that all passengers on the bus were fine, although some are recovering from minor injuries.
“One of the tour buses transporting cast and crew of Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up The Night was involved in a multi-car accident this afternoon due to bad weather while en route to Ames, Iowa,” the post reads. “All cast and crew members are fine, with some recovering from minor injuries.”
It’s unclear who was on the bus, but professional dancers Keo Motsepe, Emma Slater, Artem Chigvinstev, Sharna Burgess, Gleb Savchenko, Lindsay Arnold and Alan Bersten are on the tour, as well as troupe members Jenna Johnson, Hayley Erbert, Brandon Armstrong and Sasha Farber.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all involved, and we wish the DWTS cast and crew a speedy recovery.
