NASCAR drivers have been in the news a lot recently, with several of them announcing a shocking retirement, but this specific driver has made headlines after tweeting post-flight about a bizarre incident that had changed his plane's flight.
Brad Keselowski, a Michigan native was on his way to Detroit and enjoying the ride home until something unexpected happened.
In a tragic turn of events, air traffic controllers at Coleman A. Young Municipal Airport on the city's east side found a dead body on the runway. At first, the workers just spotted a figure and called security to check it out, later discovering that it was a dead man.
According to the Detroit News, police are currently investigating the situation and trying to determine the cause of death and if it involved trauma.
After the flight, Keselowski tweeted about the incident that forced his plane to divert to an alternate airport for a safe landing.
