Country music star Cam has returned home from her adventurous honeymoon after tying the knot with handsome now husband, Adam Weaver. While the two made their way home Monday to good news in light of Cam's AMA award nominations, the surprises were only beginning for the "Burning House" singer. Cam told WJBD radio station about one surprise so powerful and needed, she admitted, that she was unable to refrain from breaking down.
It was country music singer Dierks Bentley that sent the newlywed to tears upon presenting her with an incredibly generous gift. Cam explained,
"He gave me a little -- I think it's 'Sippin' Something Strong' -- one of his little coozies that he's got for a drink, [and it] just had a wad of cash in it! And I bawled. Because I think anybody who knows what it's like to not have a lot of money and be stretched for cash, that's probably one of the sweetest things."
Cam, in undeniable gratitude, praised the singer for his generosity, showcasing that even an individual with her talent and star power still often struggles financially with the difficult, and costly, milestones of getting married and purchasing a home. She continued,
"He's like, 'I remember what it was like, it's really stressful.' I could cry talking about it right now!” she admitted. “… He's like, 'I wish I was giving you a specific gift.' I was like 'No, I really need this cash!'"
Cam is in the running for the AMA's Favorite Female Artist in the country music genre. Fortunately, as fans, you can help her win this prestigious award by following these steps.
Congratulations to the newly weds!
