Dolly Parton Joined By Jennifer Nettles And ‘Voice’ Top 10 For Moving Christmas Performance

Jennifer Nettles and the ‘Voice’ Top 10 joined Country music legend Dolly Parton on during Tuesday night’s episode for an emotional performance of “Circle of Love.” The song is the theme song for Parton’s latest holiday movie, Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

The performance was taped in front of a live studio audience on Monday and it aired during Tuesday night’s live results show.

Dolly also collaborated with her god-daughter Miley Cyrus and a cappella group Pentatonix for a stunning rendition of Parton’s 1974 hit song “Jolene.”

The performance took place as wildfires ravaged Parton’s home state of Tennessee. The singer issued a statement Tuesday afternoon addressing the fires that threatened to destroy her theme park and had already destroyed more than 150 structures in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas of the Smoky Mountains. 

“I have been watching the terrible fires in the Great Smoky Mountains and I am heartbroken. I am praying for all the families affected by the fire and the firefighters who are working so hard to keep everyone safe. It is a blessing that my Dollywood theme park, the Dreammore Resort and so many businesses in Pigeon Forge have been spared.”
