Duck Dynasty’s Rebecca Robertson Reveals Health Scare During Tropical Honeymoon

On the days leading up to December 3, 2016, the Robertson family from A&E’s hit reality show Duck Dynasty flew to Tulum, Mexico to celebrate and watch the eldest Robertson kid, Rebecca, get hitched!

The 27-year-old married John Reed Loflin in a bohemian-style wedding, which Rebecca called a “tropical fairytale”. Her sisters Sadie and Bella served as bridesmaids, as well as sister-in-law Mary Kate.

Willie walked her down the aisle, which left everyone in tears, and they celebrated with a mariachi band at the reception.

After the family flew back to their hometown of West Monroe, Louisiana, Rebecca and John Reed stayed in Tulum for their honeymoon.

They rode bikes, stayed in a tree house, and had an “amazing experience”. Rebecca also revealed it wasn’t all fun and relaxation.

In an Instagram post, she revealed she had to be admitted to the hospital.

“Ended up having to go to the hospital on our honeymoon, (due to a sinus infection) but thanks to our local friend [Gael Deboise] for letting us use his car & writing a note to the doctor in Spanish,” she wrote. “So thankful for good friendships we have made through our new journey already.”

According to other Instagram posts, she and her new husband have returned home from paradise, and it seems she is feeling better!
