Halloween Light Setup Dances Along To “Better Dig Two” By The Band Perry

One family’s suburban home has become a viral internet sensation after their decorations come alive once the sun sets!

Putting up more than 700 different spooky decorations across the lawn and face of his Naperville, Illinois home, Nick Thomas draws more than 5,000 people to his culdesac every year to see what kind of amazing light show he has going on.

In 2013, Thomas set up his animated goblins, ghastly graveyard, and spooky specters to all light up, sing, and dance along to the tune of “Better Dig Two” by the Band Perry.

The song clearly references graves when Kimberly Perry sings the line, “Gonna tell the gravedigger, better dig two.”

As the illuminated faces of the goblins sing along to the song – each as a different band member – the outlying graveyard lights up in sections and blocks each time synced perfectly with the song’s backing music.

Thomas has always turned down folks’ offers of assistance to help defray the costs of the production, but rather has put out a donation box where visitors can give back to a charity that supports families of children with Down syndrome.
