Before she was the wife of country superstar Brad Paisley, Kimberly Williams made a name for herself as an accomplished actress. In fact, it was her acting that drew Paisley to her.
The first time he ever saw Williams was when she starred in the 1991 film Father of the Bride alongside funnymen Steve Martin and Martin Short. He took his then-girlfriend to see the movie, and after they broke up, he went and saw the equally funny sequel, but this time by himself.
Paisley thought Williams seemed "like a great girl - smart and funny and all those things that are so hard to find," he told Good Housekeeping in 2009.
Williams later told Meredith Viera on her talk show how they finally ended up meeting.
"He swears, it had never happened before, he woke up one day and decided he wanted to call me," she said. She ended up agreeing and just eight short months later, they were engaged.
Now, married for 14 years, the pair have two sons, Jasper and William, and are happier than ever.
Over the weekend, Paisley was probably very happy to learn that his wife reunited with her Father of the Bride co-stars, but not as happy as Williams was to see her former movie dad.
