Country newcomer Kane Brown took the genre by storm with his hit single off his debut EP Closer ,”Used to Love You Sober.” The Georgia native is currently touring with Florida Georgia Line as one of three openers on their Dig Your Roots Tour and the country music duo has finally opened up about their feelings towards Brown.

“Ya we both love Kane,” the brothers tell in an interview with Rare Country. “He’s a young artist and he’s really new to touring and it’s really fun to see that. He’s soaking it all up and having a blast…We’re really loving having him out on the road.”

The country music duo invited Kane on tour with them in hopes of mentoring the young singer the same way Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean mentored them at the start of their career.

“He’s really, really humble,” Tyler Hubbard continues. “It’s gonna be fun to watch him grow over the next few years and watch him evolve as a huge artist…It’s fun to be apart of it at the beginning phases.”

22-year-old Kane Brown found his start via social media after a series of covers of him singing hit country songs such as Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” and George Strait’s “Check Yes or No” went viral. The self-starter received over one million views on a clip of his widely successful debut single “Used to Love You Sober” in under three hours earning himself a record deal with RCA Nashville.
