President-elect Donald Trump has had one whirlwind of a time snagging qualified artists to perform throughout his inauguration ceremony, some eagerly jumping at the opportunity while others caved at the negative pressure from fellow singers and fans. However, Trump has been continuously adding to his itinerary of acts, landing massive performers such as Toby Keith, Lee Greenwood, and country duo Big & Rich.
It seems that the former Celebrity Apprentice host has yet to cease his string of surprises, as he recently announced yet another well-known artist that will be serenading the President-elect into his first dance with the soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump at the inaugural ball.
Former Little Texas band member Tim Rushlow is expected to greet the new Presidential couple with what is being called a new musical approach as he embraces a blissful, new Jazz act. Rushlow will also be performing during a portion of the event alongside iconic country singers Larry Stewart and Richie McDonald in a new group called The Frontmen of Country.
During a press release, Rushlow exclaimed, "I am humbled to be a part of history and perform the first dance for the President and First Lady — all while celebrating this new chapter in my career. Big band jazz music and the Great American Songbook are my passion and to take the stage at the inaugural ball is a real honor."
Former acts for the inaugural ball have involved pop superstar Beyoncé, who angelically graced President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama back in 2009 during their first presidential victory.
Are y'all eager to see these performances? Who would you have liked to see perform?
