Garth Brooks is at it again. Concert after concert he continues to surprise his fans in one way or another.  Saturday night’s concert in Oklahoma City was no different when Brooks called out a couple who interrupted his set when the man proposed to his girlfriend.

Garth was in the middle of his song “Unanswered Prayers” when Drew Bargsley asked Chelsea Townsend. Little did the couple know that the singer noticed them in the audience. After asking their names, Garth asked Drew if he had planned the proposal. Drew responded that he had been working toward this proposal for three months in hopes that Garth would sing “Unanswered Prayers” at this concert.

Brooks then asked Chelsea where she wanted to go on her honeymoon. When she responded that she had “no idea,” Brooks replied that if she chose Hawaii he and Ms. Yearwood would pay for it.

“Before we go back, is anybody else getting engaged tonight?” Brooks said before continuing the song.

Brooks stopped the concert once again when his wife, Trisha Yearwood, joined him on stage. The female vocalist congratulated the couple as Brooks informed her that he had “spent some money.” Yearwood gave her approval and wished the couple well.
