Country music icon Garth Brooks dedicated roughly three years to his riveting Garth Brooks World Tour With Trisha Yearwood, kicking off the string of events in 2014 and holding strong until its prospective late 2017 finale. The singer has continued to thrill fan after fan in venue-upon-venue as he trekked worldwide to visit millions of country music aficionados.
While Brooks has been openly expressing his love for the stage and the boys and girls that keep his music alive and well, the singer hinted at a possible cease in his upcoming career endeavors. Speaking with The Music Universe, the "Friends In Low Places" singer spoke of his rigorous touring schedules, admitting,
"Everyone's pretty exhausted... You'll see these guys, right now, they are all out there laying down right now... But tonight they'll be like 7-year-old kids, man... It's the most beautiful gift you could ever give somebody!"
The singer also referenced his lovely wife, Trisha Yearwood, fondly speaking of the bombshell's new persona on stage in which "she'll be 17" all over again.
However, it seems that Brooks may be hinting to a large retraction in touring upon wrapping up his current thrill. After talking on the difficulties entailed in touring overseas, including hefty traveling fees for equipment and an unfortunate increase in ticket prices, the singer briefly spoke about his high hopes for festivals. "Festivals are a cool way to do it," he admitted. "Festivals will also be in our future. We don't know if we will ever get [a] tour like this again."
Yearwood added in her opinion about the consolidation of her current tour with her husband, admitting that a nap in the following January seems like something to add to her honey-do list!
