Only five years after country music star Gary Allan’s opened the doors to his Nashville menswear boutique, The Label, he has made the decision to close down for good.
“As many of you know,” the store’s representative announced on the Facebook page last week. “We are closing The Label Nashville.”
Gary Allan first opened the boutique in September of 2011 with the help of his stylist. The store specialized in the sale of custom-made suits, leather jackets, stage wear, fine denim, dress shirts, and hand-crafted furniture and jewelry. Most of the inventory was imported from Los Angeles based designers and the store’s aim was to help Southeast based musicians and athletes find stylish custom clothes that fit.
One fan commented on the Facebook post “This makes us super sad to hear! We visited Nashville last March and made it a point to stop in as our family, especially me, are huge Gary Allen fans...We love you guys and hope you know how many of [us] are heartbroken to hear this!”
While Label connoisseurs may find this news devastating, there seems to be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. The rep also went on the explain that while they may be closing their chapter on trendy mens clothing, they are opening an exciting new door.
The Nashville based store is wiping their current stock and moving forward with a brand new Gary Allan Jewelry Line. So devastated fans may find solace in the fact that the store isn’t closing forever, it’s just moving on to bigger and more exciting things.
There is currently no word on when fans can expect to see the new Gary Allan Jewelry Line as well as when the Nashville store will close down officially.
