Grace VanderWaal Brings Judges To Their Feet During ‘America’s Got Talent’ Finale

Grace VanderWaal Brings Judges To Their Feet During ‘America’s Got Talent’ Finale | Country Music Videos

12-year old Grace VanderWaal continues to dominate the America’s Got Talent stage. True to her name, Grace showed poise well beyond her years as she delivered another original tune during the first night of the America’s Got Talent Season 11 finale.

The singer/songwriter and ukulele player has gained more and more of a fan following since we were first introduced to her earlier this summer. Her humility and unmatched talent have endeared her to the hearts of millions, making her a fan favorite to take home this year’s title.

During Tuesday’s show, VanderWaal sang “Clay,” a self-penned tune about bullying.

“Your words don’t hurt me, I will be okay.
Cause your punches and your names,
all your jokes and stupid games.
Watch them just go right through me,
’cause they mean nothing to me.
I’m not trying to change my shape,
’cause baby I’m not clay.”

Dubbed “The next Taylor Swift” by AGT judge Simon Cowell, VanderWaal has grown more confident as the season has progressed, as shown during last night’s performance. Howie Mandel seems to agree as he proclaimed following VanderWaal’s performance, “Grace has to win. This is my favorite moment of the night.”

Watch Grace VanderWaal’s dynamic performance of “Clay” in the video below.

The show names a winner Wednesday, September 14 (8 ET/PT). Will you be watching?
