Since the start of their relationship, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have accompanied each other to many red carpet events and awards shows. But never to a country music awards show – until now.
Seeing as Shelton hasn’t appeared at an awards show in a few years, it wouldn’t make sense for Stefani to have gone to one before now. He was was up for Single Record of the Year for “I’ll Name The Dogs,” performed his latest single “I Lived It,” as well as sang a rousing duet with Toby Keith.
The couple of over two years was seen mingling with other artists during commercial breaks and looking extremely in love in their seats. Shelton kept his hand on Stefani’s leg for most the show.
Their appearance at the ACM Awards comes just a few days after Stefani addressed marriage rumors on The Ellen Show. While she didn’t confirm or deny that the rumors were true, she did say she thinks about marrying the country star “all the time.”
She was spotted singing along to Shelton’s performance of “I Lived It,” and social media went nuts for it! Watch her support her country star boyfriend in the video below.
