The woman that stole the show (and Blake Shelton’s heart) has long been set to return to her red chair on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ based on fan demand, but no official announcement has been made.
Already having played the role of “coach” for two seasons, and advised boyfriend Blake Shelton’s team once, Gwen Stefani seems to know the intricate ins-and-outs of ‘The Voice’ and would be a perfect candidate for a return – especially with how much the public seems to be hollering for her to come back.
In a recent message posted by none other than longstanding ‘Voice’ coach, and boyfriend, Blake, it appears that Gwen might actually be headed for her red chair as soon as next season!!
A fan asked Blake on Twitter about her return for Season 12, and his response was a little more revealing that some might think!

Posting the “Thinking Face” emoji, Shelton opened up the floodgates for speculation…but if we break down what Mr. Thinking Face actually means, it sheds a little more light on the subject…
Described as “used to indicate thinking or deep thought” the emoji represents someone saying “hmmm” as they decide whether or how to answer a question.
As Max Read from NYMag says: “When words fail, there’s ‘Thinking Face’ emoji.”
So by Blake Shelton not confirming or outwardly denying the fact, it’s likely that he substituted the emoji because he couldn’t reveal when Gwen would return to her spinning red chair.
