As Elvis Week is fast approaching at his historic Graceland, Elvis Presley‘s estate is announcing how fans can get the most out of the experience.

At Elvis Week, fans can tour the museum, see his most beloved possessions and take home some memorabilia.

Nancy Rooks, Elvis’ former maid and cook, would like to do fans one better by auctioning off a guitar used and well-loved by The King himself.

According to Invaluable.com, Rooks is auctioning off Presley’s electric guitar that he used in rehearsals for what is now known as his 1968 Comeback Special.

The website describes the guitar as having “signs of heavy use and being well loved, with worn finish and nicks and scratches.” Overall, it is in “very good condition”.

The guitar is a beauty with a “cherry sunburst finish with mother-of-pearl inlays in the fretboard”. It also has “Elvis” written on the edge and was played by Presley a great deal during the 1960s.

The auction begins on August 13 with a starting bid at $10,000. Will you bid on such a rare piece of Elvis Presley history?
