David Cassidy, the actor and singer best known for his role in the '70s show The Partridge Family, has been hospitalized in critical condition with organ failure.
Cassidy's publicist, Jo-Ann Geffen, told CNN on Saturday that he is being treated at a hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after being admitted three days ago.
"He is conscious and surrounded by family and friends, nothing is imminent and we are taking it day by day," Geffen said. She did not say what caused the organ failure.
