Mary Kate Robertson Experiences An Exciting First

Being a member of the Robertson family comes with great responsibility.

As the newest member of the family, Mary Kate (John Luke’s wife) has a few tasks she must complete. John Luke calls these a “Robertson right of passage”.

During a recent episode of Duck Dynasty, the young married couple return home for Sadie’s graduation party, but instead of just sitting around and waiting for the party, Phil takes them squirrel hunting.

Mary Kate has never been squirrel hunting before and John Luke can’t wait to take her out there.

After they suit up in camouflage from head to toe, they embark a day filled with killing squirrels. Phil gives Mary Kate all the tricks of the trade and helps her shoot her very first squirrel!

 

After killing the squirrel, she now has to learn how to skin it, so they can cook it into a delicious Squirrel and Dumplings meal.

John Luke is convinced he and Mary Kate will be making this when they go back to school, but Mary Kate says absolutely not!

She was a bit scared of the daunting task, but she ended up skinning the squirrel without gagging! Watch the clip below.
