If you were planning on going to see country singer John Michael Montgomery at his January 13th concert in Jacksonville, North Carolina, you are going to have to reschedule your plans.
The "I Love The Way You Love Me" singer took to Facebook to reveal that he had to undergo surgery, forcing him to postpone his concert this weekend (Jan. 13).
"Hi all, As you may of heard I went into the hospital for some surgery that is going to require me to stay home this weekend January 12/13," he wrote. "I’m recovering well and ready to be back on the road January 19 and 20. The fine folks at the Tarheel Opry House in Jacksonville, NC are going to bring us back January 27th so hold on to those tickets and see you in just 2 short weeks."
His January 13th concert at the Tarheel Opry House in Jacksonville, North Carolina will now take place on January 27.
Montgomery rose to fame in the early 1990s and charted over 30 singles on the Billboard country charts, with seven reaching the number one spot. His most notable hits are "Life's A Dance," "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),"I Swear," "If You've Got Love," "I Love The Way You Love Me," and "I Can Love You Like That." Before embarking on a solo career, he performed with his brother Eddie Montgomery from the duo Montgomery Gentry.
