Julianne Hough Shows Off MAJOR Hair Makeover

If you’re a fan of Julianne Hough, then you’re well aware that the multi-talented star never keeps the same hairstyle for long. She’s sported a pixie cut, a cotton-candy pink bob, and more recently, a wavy perm. 

So it’s no surprise that on Wednesday (June 22), Hough stepped out sporting another major hair makeover. For some time now, Hough has kept her hair at a “lob” length, hitting just below her shoulders. But when Hough appeared in public on Wednesday, her hair was noticeably longer than it had been just days before.

In a casual picture taken of Hough after a visit to her hairstylist, it was revealed that the “Hallelujah Song” singer is now sporting long, mermaid-like waves, courtesy of extensions. Hough has had long hair in the past, but it’s been some time since her hair has been this long.

Hough hasn’t commented on her new “do” yet, but fans have been speculating why she decided to make such a drastic change. Some have wondered if Hough’s longer hairstyle is a test for her upcoming wedding to hockey player Brooks Laich. Although the two haven’t set a wedding date yet, we can’t blame Hough for wanting to figure out her hairstyle way in advance.

Country fans are already familiar with Hough’s longer hairstyle. Back when she made her country music debut in 2008 with her self-titled album, Hough was sporting long waves similar to the ones she has now. Beyond her sense of style, it was her voice that left a lasting impression on country fans. She was named the ACM‘s Top New Female Vocalist and the Top New Artist in 2009.

Hough hasn’t released any new music since her debut album, but we’re hopeful she will sometime in the future. In the meantime, enjoy the music video to her single, “Hallelujah Song.”
