A few months ago, country star Kane Brown interrupted his concert to reveal the latest news in his personal life - he got engaged to his girlfriend Katelyn Jae.
He initially posted a photo of the two of them together on Instagram to show off her new sparkly ring, but ended up taking it down because of the comments fans were writing. His jealous fans were not too pleased that he was officially off the market and instead of celebrating this momentous occasion in public with his new fiancé, they had to do so in private.
He addressed the situation at his Philadelphia concert a few days later.
“You know, there are girls involved and you gotta stay out of trouble. It’s really hard. You know some people found out on Instagram and I had to delete this, but I just got engaged to a girl from Philadelphia two days ago. This is my first time making this announcement. I thought I would have to make the announcement so thank you."
Now that the "What Ifs" singer is a few months removed from his engagement, the question on everyone's mind is "What's happening with wedding plans?!"
Thankfully, Rare Country caught up with him recently and he answered that exact question.
While he explains that he doesn't even know what he wants his wedding to look like, he does know one thing, his dog Rambo will definitely be in the wedding.
"My dog is gonna be there," he said. "He’s probably going to be wearing a tux. We found something on Pinterest. She did. I didn’t!"
The interview took place shortly before they welcomed a new addition to the family, a puppy named Nash. We're sure Nash will also be wearing a tux and will be sitting near his parents on the wedding day!
The singer also reveals he's written a few songs about his lady love and will be including them on his next album.
"There’s one song called ‘What’s Mine Is Yours’ I’m super excited [about]. I wrote that one for her," he said. " I guess ‘I Found You’ is kind of the same thing. Then there’s one other song that I’m excited about. I haven’t even announced it. Nobody’s even heard it, so I’m not going to say anything about that one. But I’m really excited about it.”
