Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman Open Up On How They’re Raising Their Daughters

In addition to taking home the big win at the Golden Globes Sunday night (Jan. 7, 2018) for her role in Big Little Lies, Nicole Kidman is also winning where it really matters.

Finding Opportunities

“They’re pretty aware,” revealed Kidman in a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight. “They’re very much about advocating for women’s rights and for what they want to do and having opportunities. My mother was a feminist when I was growing up but, so this is about all us working together to make the world a safer, better place for all of us.”

Keith’s Opinion

Chiming in on the conversation, Urban went on to explain they simply just try and lead by example.

“Hopefully, Nic and I are living our morals and the way we see the world and the girls see that. They’re also fortunate to have the grandmothers they do and to be able to watch them see how they lived,” Urban added.

Urban and Kidman initially met back in 2005 at the G’Day USA Gala honoring Australians. The Nashville sweethearts got hitched the following year, welcoming their first daughter, Sunday Rose, into the world in 2008 and their second daughter Faith Margaret a couple years later in 2010.
