Kenny Rogers has dedicated nearly 60 years of his life to the music industry. But after decades of recording and touring, Rogers has decided that it's time to hang up his hat.

In September 2015, an emotional Rogers announced his plans for retirement. Although he has been looking forward to spending more time with his family, Rogers said the decision to retire was not an easy one to make.

Out of a desire to offer his fans a proper "goodbye," Rogers also announced his intentions to embark on a two-year farewell tour. That tour is about to come to an end this year, with one major event set to serve as a celebration of Rogers' career.

That event is the upcoming tribute concert All in for the Gambler: Kenny Rogers' Farewell Concert CelebrationRogers shared the news about the concert on July 18, revealing that it would be one of his final performances.

In addition to performing himself, Rogers has invited some of his famous friends to help him celebrate his career. At the time of the initial announcement, the known performers included Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, and Little Big Town.

One of the standout names on the lineup was Dolly Parton, who is Rogers' longtime friend and duet partner. The two will sing together for the final time in what is sure to be one of the concert's highlight performances.

Now, a batch of additional country artists have signed on for the concert, and there's some major star power between them. As announced via a press release on Wednesday (August 9), Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, and Lady Antebellum have all agreed to participate in the concert.

As if that wasn't enough, the concert will also serve as the setting for a major reunion. Mother-daughter duo The Judds will sing together for the first time in a while all in the spirit of honoring Rogers and his career.

With a lineup like that, there's no way you can miss this once-in-a-lifetime event! All in for the Gambler: Kenny Rogers' Farewell Concert Celebration is scheduled for October 25 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

This show is guaranteed to be good! Who else is looking forward to it?
