Back in August, Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrell, revealed the happy news that they were expecting twins. After suffering a miscarriage in the fall of 2015, Scott and Tyrell were overjoyed to learn that they were having twins.
“Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is,” Scott wrote in the Facebook post announcing the happy news. The post was accompanied by a video, which showed Scott and Tyrell telling their four-year-old daughter Eisele that she was going to be a big sister.
God has answered our family’s countless prayers! Our family is growing…Chris, Eisele, and I wanted to share our DOUBLE portion of joy with you all! We appreciate all the love and prayers in the coming weeks as we wait (somewhat patiently if you’re Chris and I, and impatiently if you’re Eisele ?) for these precious BABIES to arrive. Yep, babies! We are having TWINS! It’s truly a miracle. Because we’ve been so open about our last pregnancy loss and journey, I want to be fully transparent with you that this happened naturally. Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is. My heart still grieves for our loss and all who are struggling with pregnancy and infant loss and infertility. God hears every prayer and I will continue to share our story to point to the Source of all life, peace and comfort in the best and most difficult of times. Don’t lose hope!

A month later, Scott shared that she is expecting twin girls. “Chris and I are beyond grateful that we get to raise a household of little ladies,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
Like most country stars, Scott has kept the names of her babies a secret, and it’s assumed they won’t be shared until they’re born. But earlier this week, she finally gave us a first clue as to what her two new bundles of joy will be named!
In her Instagram Story, Scott shared a photo showing three sweatshirts, all with the word “bestie” written on them. Scott wrote a letter on top of each sweatshirt, making it seem like those letters represent her daughters’ initials.
Eisele’s sweatshirt is likely the gray one, since it is a different color than the other two and was labeled by Scott with an “E.” The white sweatshirts seem to be the twins’, and were assigned the letters “B” and “E.”
We wonder what the twin girls’ names could be? It’s cute that one of them will share the same first initial with her big sister Eisele!
Scott is due in February, so we won’t have to wait long to meet her baby girls and find out their names!
