Willie Nelson's son took to his social media to set the record straight on his father's health amidst rumors claiming the country legend was battling a grave illness, amongst other fabrications.
Posting a group photo featuring his father, Lukas captioned his upload, "The best . Austin at the Luck Reunion .. don't believe anything you read online, dad is feeling great and the Nelson boys are on a roll.."
Fans were elated to hear the positive news, voicing their happiness for the singer's admirable heath and timeless tenacity to keep the show on the road! Nelson's publicist recently spoke out, as reported by the Associated Press, promising, "[Willie Nelson] is perfectly fine" and was merely battling a "bad cold".
In light of the obscene health rumors and death hoaxes tied to the country outlaw, Nelson penned his own original tune titled "Still Not Dead", exclusively featured on his upcoming album Problem Child. Set for release on April 27th, the icon spoke of the song to Rolling Stone, admitting the backstory by saying, "I got up two or three times in the last couple of years and read the paper where I'd passed away. So I just wanted to let 'em know that's a lot of horseshit."
It seems that Nelson has made a full recovery and will be pressing on with his tour and further performance dates. Keep it up, Willie!
