Shots were fired on Luke Bryan’s Twitter account after online altercation between the country music artist and a Twitter troll.
The typically easy going Georgia native was provoked by Derek J. Rauscher, user name “derekj217,” who called the country music star “a poser” for an unknown reason. Rauscher later deleted the tweet after Luke Bryan confronted the young man regarding the comment which the user deleted soon after.
@derekj217 so let me understand this. I go have a fun day talking to young men about life and you call me a poser. Always that guy.

But the drama didn’t stop there! Rauscher fired back at the country music star with a presumably sarcastic video captioned “Wow. Luke Bryan just called me “that guy”. I’m devastated.”

As to be expected, many fans of Bryan were to quick to jump to his defense and confronted Rauscher in the replies of the social media smack down.
Some fans wanted to know why the user deleted the parent tweet that started it all:
@derekj217 @LukeBryanOnline why delete the original tweet then if you don’t care?

While others just wanted the Twitter troll to know their thoughts on the matter:
@derekj217 @LukeBryanOnline you’re such a loser lol

No word on what enticed the country music superstar who has over 7 million followers on Twitter alone to engage with the random Twitter troll or what sparked Rauscher’s initial tweet that started it all, but we hope everyone can move past.
