The young rising star is giving away every dime from one of the hottest songs on radio in order to help others...
Originally from Asheville, North Carolina 26-year-old Luke Combs is leading the charge on helping those who have been devastated by Hurricane Matthew - and his selflessness is inspiring so many to do the same!
In an interesting twist, the opportunity for Combs to help others comes at a time when his hit song "Hurricane" is storming the charts. Unfortunately, Combs knows all too well the massive amounts of destruction a storm of this magnitude can cause and that only makes him want to help more.
"As much as 'Hurricane' is a made up song, this past weeks hurricane was very real. I have been through a hurricane and know first hand the devastation it causes," Combs writes in a Facebook post announcing his efforts to help. "This week, we are donating all the proceeds of the song (downloads and streaming) to Habitat for Humanity."
With his impressive songwriting skills and his remarkable talent as a vocalist, he easily brings "Hurricane" to life in a heavy-hitting tune that is guaranteed to make it onto your favorites list.
Unraveling a twisted story of love and loss, the single explores the man's side of a relationship when his ex-love comes back into his life with the turbulent effects that he likens to a 'hurricane'.
