You’ve never heard, or seen, the Star-Spangled Banner like this before.
Artist Joe Everson took his canvas and paints on the ice prior to the Toledo Walleye vs. Brampton Beast hockey game recently and delivered one of the most stunning renditions of our national anthem that we’ve ever seen.
While singing, Everson painted on an oversized canvas as the crowd anxiously awaited the final result. An audible gasp is heard and the crowd erupts with applause when Everson concludes the song and turns the canvas over to reveal the famous “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima,” which depicts United States soldiers raising an American flag during World War II.
This is one performance that you have to see for yourself!
