As an outspoken and avid supporter for the former democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, many fans were left wondering who Miley Cyrus would give her presidential endorsement to after the democratic party's nomination went to Hillary Clinton. After much speculation on the matter, Cyrus met up with Ellen DeGeneres to set the record straight.
In a recent study conducted by Forbes that revealed that the majority of Sanders' supporters find Clinton unfavorable as a presidential candidate and that only 55 percent say they will be voting for her in the national election. So where does that leave Cyrus' vote?
Cyrus recently hit the campaign trail stopping at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia to make her official endorsement clear.
"I kind of went as someone who was openly supporting Bernie Sanders...I was kind of speaking to those who now find themselves undecided," said Cyrus. "In life we don't always get the choices that we want so you do with what you have."
Cyrus goes on to say that "it's terrifying if someone besides Hillary Clinton" goes on to become president.
So it's official then folks! Cyrus is sticking by the democratic party and will be voting for Hillary Clinton this November. You can watch the interview in the video below and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments!
